What’s a doubler and singler?
A doubler is a bottle half-filled with double strength liquid so that once filled, will come to the normal strength. This will allow nicotine to be added by the end user as nicotine is legal to import for personal use in most Australian states. Please check your state’s current laws on the legality of importing nicotine for personal use.
A singler is a bottle that’s ready to go (no mixing required). Singlers do not contain nicotine.
What’s does the VG and PG ratio mean?
VG (vegetable glycerin) and PG (propylene glycol) are the two main compounds that create e-liquid. Whilst these two compounds are quite similar, they play different roles in how a liquid vapes.
There is no right or wrong ratio. It all comes down to personal preference and the device that you use.
VG is commonly found at higher ratios as it creates more vapour than PG, however, it's much thicker. Because VG is thicker than PG, this means that some smaller devices may struggle to absorb the liquid, creating what's called a "dry hit". The tradeoff for a higher VG ratio is less flavour, as VG can mute certain flavours. Higher VG e-liquids are more suited for higher powered devices.
PG on the other hand creates less vapour, but carries more flavour. PG is what's used to carry the flavour, but can sometimes feel harsher compared to VG. A harsher vape is not necessarily a bad thing, as some people prefer this over the smoothness VG gives. A 50/50 ratio of VG/PG is suitable for all devices.
|More vapour||More flavour|
|Smoother||More" throat hit" in higher powered devices|
|Suited towards dripping/ higher powered devices||Suitable for any device|
What is stepping and should I steep my e-liquid?
Steeping your e-liquid allows the flavours to mix together and mature. A steeped bottle of e-liquid can often enhance the flavour depending on the flavour profile. Creamier flavours will often benefit from a longer steep compared to lighter/fruitier flavours.
Creamier flavours can be steeped for as long a week whereas fruiter flavours typically only need a few days.
A good way to tell if a liquid has been steeped is by its colour as a well steeped liquid can appear darker than an unsteeped bottle.
Do you sell nicotine?
No. Nicotine is classified as a ‘Schedule 7 Dangerous Poison’ under the Commonwealth Poisons Standard which prohibits the sale or supply of nicotine within Australia.
